Re: Kohi - Monday August 27 (video added)

Blimey sounds like some journey you have been on chap. All the very best for your recovery, sorta worried now that my NN catches will be affected by the "destin effect", so recover fully of course, but maybe best you only have an occasional fish mish or perhaps we introduce a QMS for just for you....

Hatch Question Prowler 4.3

Hi folks - after a blissful Sunday am at NN picking up a few nice fish and a surprisingly quiet boat ramp and covering a huge amount of ground (well for me anyhow) due to a super fast outgoing tide/current, I got back to the beach to see that the T bar where the hatch attaches to the yak has complet...

Extrasport Paddle top

Hi there - my Extrasport paddle top has pretty much done its dash, been awesome but now the seals around the seams are beginning to come away, plus it has a few holes from fish hooks and the odd snapper spine. One of the things I really liked about it was it had a chest pocket with a built-in key la...

Re: Lowrance Hook 3x Transducer -

Had similar issues with the Hook 4 Lowrance Transducer in my 4.3, although I think the hook 3 transducer is a smaller model as no downscan. But you would want the transducer to be shooting straight down as far as I know. This was my solution https://www.kayakfishingnz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=24035...

Re: Kayak Trailer

looks smart, very tidy work by the looks of it, like that idea of using the PVC tubes as a cradle and rod storage.
I use a trailer all the time even tho my yak is far lighter than yours, so not overkill at all having a dedicated set up.

Re: Transducer

There are heaps of threads on here about this question, pretty much the #1 solution, if you can't use a scupper mount, is to shoot the signal thru the hull, rather than have an arm with a FF attached. I did a similar shoot thru install a while back, have a read of this post. https://www.kayakfishing...
