Wanted- Name of the guy that builds trailers
Haven't been on here for ages , and can remember one of the members worked at a trailer place and I'm after getting one built , after a 10x5 Tandem with hydraulic disc brakes .

Personally I don't like the idea of using the scupper holes for a trolley as it puts unnecessary pressure on the scupper holes , and what is the hardest place to get plastic welded on a kayak ??? A friend bought a brand new one about 2 years ago from Johnson outdoors ( when they existed ) for about $950 with seat and paddle , so now with import costs and tax it would be about $6 grand

I always put them on the passengers side, if you use a line to tie the front to the bumper it doesn't effect your vision , also when it rains and your yak gets water in it and you stop all the water comes out on the passengers side , another issue I've had being a bait user is squid guts dripping on...

My racks are spaced 1200 apart and work fine with the kayak 4.5m long placed on its side and upside down. If your kayak is secured properly with front and rear tie downs you shouldn't have a problem. My car carries two reloads and a roof box most of the time and had no issues. Yeah ,your roof racks...
