yes, I did end up buying one and very glad I did. Game changer label is well deserved and everything I have have read or heard has been bang on. like most I use it for paddle assist and on half power its brilliant

Ok so I'm real close to dropping the coin on a bixpy to fit to my reload and im interested in hearing from real world users are they as good as the hype.
they aren't cheap and don't want to be left disappointed if they aren't.

Before I completely butcher this process, has anyone removed a transducer from the inside of their hull? One that has been installed with silicone? I bought some silicone remover and a scraper, but am not sure if the remover will mess with (melt?) the plastic. The plan is to remove it from one kaya...

Just run a tie strap between the bars on one side and rest the front of your kayak on that before lifting the back end up and pushing it into position, Easy.
Also I use my cars floor mat to rest the back end on to avoid damage
