I got a smaller fly hook in my thumb one day. Was amazed how the doc slid an injection needle down next to the shank and over the barb I guess. Just slipped it all back out. The next day was like it never even happened.

I'm only beginning my journey so maybe I'll change my mind, but I want to keep fit while fishing. Also the yak sounds more manageable maintenance wise when compared to​ a boat

I've all but given up surf fishing at this stage, so can't wait to get some good pulls out at sea again! But even if I don't, the tranquility out there is a catch in itself.

I think canoe and kayak let people try out yaks before they buy. Even some people on the forums are accommodating to such things.
