Sorry Viking – I know new yak coming and such, but…

… you really have to step up your game. ;) Please sign me up when this goes into production. (just saying since I'm convinced Stephen and Grant are already sharpening their pencils) :y:

one of my mate's reply (see previous page): But… we don't hunt orcas. Our staple are butter fish.
So I promised him a staple of butters – and delivered

Re: All stickered up

haven't posted in a while… but thought HLD may be keen.
I've focused a wee bit more into the spearfishing and still use my PF 400 as a platform, so technically I'm still a yakfisher, hahaha. I've recently cut some vinyl for our spearo crew and wanted to share (not stickered up yet though).

Re: Loud Commercials

So I'm not the only one hitting the mute button as soon as an ad appears. They really grind my gears especially the ads with B-celebrities or cooking show winners japping about canned and processed food… :puke: Hope they stop it soon. Nothing about advertising, but shouting at me makes me even les...

Well… at least you can slip off work. (the good thing is my boss is a keen surfer too, so when the swell is pumping we both have an excuse to "research")

Re: Queens Birthday - Long weekend

Was good to meet you guys out there, wouldn't have managed 9.30 anyway… I went in for 90 min and hooked a handful of undesized cod and one horsey Kahawai (which smolders away in a beautiful fish curry in the moment).
Note to myself: need to get out more often

Steve's fishing shop in Wellington has them. $12 for 5. Google it, not hard to find

Re: winter build

Glint, there's this lad in Wellington who showed me four different yaks all built by himself each with a different method. A bit of googling revealed his email address - he was very helpful and knows a lot about his materials… Will try and find his reports again. K Here we go: http://home.clear.ne...

Re: Boat Show Launches or Rumours...?

Huh? for a moment I though the icebox IS the bow of the yak… So here's for an idea: why not having an insulated rear compartment, (sure, it will have its disadvantages – maybe the yak will look suspended in a constant wheelie position on a good day). Awwwh, maybe not. Have fun at the boatshow, ...
