Big snapper are in the 25+ meter water, have got quite a few over the last few weeks lots of 10 to 15lb with the odd 20+ in between, you may have seen us out far on Saturday morning.

Re: invisible yaks

One of the most important things about skippering a boat is to be ultra observant, if you cannot see a 4+meter yellow or orange object in the water with rods, net and person attached maybe they need their eyes tested, when launching in dark I always have a light with me for the blind boaties.

I have also done a huge amount on the east coast of SA off Durban and Umdloti had the stealth, in that case I would go with the trident 4,3 you will not be disappointed, if you ever down Nelson way PM me always keen for a fish.

Re: Which kayak should I buy???

Sit in them ,make them for a paddle, make sure you feel comfortable, if you have never paddled before also look at the Tetra 12 angler, good starter kayak and you can always upgrade.

Quake effect

What do you think about the effect of the quake having a positive or negative effect on the fish, Has a topic like this been discussed before?

Fish with their lateral lines pick up vibrations will it make them move away or will they carry on as norma ?
