i couldnt comment on the comfort and tracking points because ive not been on one. but yes, that would be a hell of an issue if you dont use a rudder or another seat in conjunction with the foam offering.. eg a gts. the standard seat you get with the ultra is ok for a couple of hours and then i get ...

i notice the rear handle is lateral and not longitudinal.. i HATE the rear handle on my ultra. its the most uncomfortable and un natural position for carrying. your wrist is twisted and it continuously slaps you in the thighs whilst "trying" to hold it away from your body to walk. bloody awful!! ca...

Id never fished with braid until I bought my yak. Always fished light mono. ie 1lb for trout fishing and a max of 10lbs for sea with 15 to 20lbs shock leader. we used to use that tape hld mentioned on the aircon ducting on boats. sticks like the brown smelly stuff to a blanket. you could try burnsco or some such shop.. they may have some

got the next model down.. exactly the same without bluetooth. no worries with it so far. wasnt willing to spent the extra 100 bucks for a feature ill never use. anyone phones me when im fishin.. better bloody duck cos ill throw the phone at em. hehe. not that it will ever arise cos its switched off ...

back in the days of my fly fishing the hare and copper nymph was the downfall of at least 80% of my fish. then the kakahi queen dry fly accounted for a good few more.

also have a `93 abu 6500 c3. great little level wind reel and came with 2 spare "brake shoes", spare spool, oil and spanner/screwdriver. mine was also bought for bass fishing in the UK and is still going strong. would i buy another?? yup. i wouldnt hesitate.
