Re: Transport kayak on ute

I just carry mine upside down on the roof racks I wouldn't personally worry about cradles as they can be a hassle getting the yak into them when you have to lift it above your head. it also depends on the yak you end up getting as they all can sit a little different Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapat...

Re: Lightweight kayak advice

I have a profish 400 and love it. My paddling speed is around 6 km/h with no breeze and goes down to about 5 in 10-15 knots head wind. I lift mine onto the roof of my ute easily

Yeah I have one I use it for hunting also I like the fact that it has a solid aerial that you can point up some of the others the aerial is a wire. I think it is a good unit for the price but it is a little larder in size than the acr and McCurdy fast find Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk Thank...

Easiest way I have found to tie the FG knot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjzUb5QRKuk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Easy to do with rod in holder on the yak, trick I found is not to much tension on the braid while its in your teeth. I have a set of Yakima j bars that I put on my ute they are great you can put them on and off in under a couple of minutes so they don't need to be on if you don't want them
