Re: Non-chafe base layer top?

I've had similar issues but have been using Adrenaline 2P base layer tops for the last few years with excellent results. Have a look at: http://www.canoeandkayak.co.nz/shop/Clothing/Thermal+tops/2P+Thermo+Long+Sleeve+Top.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; or http://www.northlandkay...

Ruddered Profish 400 lite

Hi all, Anyone in the market for a great fishing kayak...? I am reluctantly looking to sell my Profish 400 as I am using the 2+1 Viking more these days, for taking kids out and having a quick fish when time allows. It has been very well looked after and always washed after use, has minimal scratches...

Re: kayak sails

I brought a Windpaddle, really happy with it!!! well made, light, easy to stow and takes up little room.
I'd go the adventure model, also the service and quick reply from the guys in the US was awesome. :y:

Re: Gulp vs Z-man

The way I look at it is that Gulp is the ideal hybrid between a bait and lure, Zmans on the other hand are a better lure, and a far lesser bait :?: My preference to begin with is always zmans, but if it isn't producing the fish then its time to change something, for me that is when the gulps come ou...

The only answer seems to be to quit my job and go fishing more often... if I get out there more often, I'm less likely to feel like I've got to try everything on every trip :)[/quote]

Now your talking, I'll join ya..haha

Re: Hot... verry hot

This is what i use. Go for 25lb Been using those as well the smallest size, strong enough unless you really crank up the drag! can be fiddly to put some jig heads on with larger gauge. Have also had issues with genie clips in the past with light lines. Take 3 rods, one with a 1/4 ounce, 1 with 3/8 ...
