I had good intentions and set my alarm for 4:30 Saturday morning planning to be on the water before sunrise but when I woke I was feeling very tired and had a headache so I took some Panadol and went back to sleep. I woke up and had breakfast and then about 9am I decided to go out. I know I had missed all the best weather but I did want some fish. The wind was definitely up and the angle made for difficult drifts but I got a fish per drift and ended up keeping 6 all between 42-45cm.

Doing some rod macrame in one of those shots by the looks. Some solid snaps - and a legal banana. Nice.

Yes the fish decided to go on that side. Not very cooperative of it. :)

I was working in Hanene St the last two weeks. A couple of times the water looked very nice. I thought of you.
Good to see you getting out again, look forward to catching up with you over there again.

Nice going Destin :y: . I'm working on Bongard Rd and have a mean view looking out to Rangitoto. I always keep wondering to myself if Destin is out there catching a feed.
