DIY soft plastics

Seems I found myself a new hobbie. This will keep me occupied when u can’t go fishing. Hope to trial a couple out tomorrow if the weather holds

Nice Jordan, the browny gold ones look sweet.

I ended up remelting those ones and added some glitter and a bit of the flouro orange to it.

Yeh I’ve mucked around with a few different colours and and stuff so got a few to trial when the weather comes good.

They look great , well done. Should work nicely. How did you make the dies and the mixture for the baits etc ?

You pretty much have to get everything online. The plastic is called plastisol comes in liquid form heated up in microwave till it becomes molten plastic and pores or injected into moulds . The colours are almost like tintes painters use to colour paint come paint n liquid and powder But I got a few other colours from melting down some old soft plastics I had lying round from different brands and mixing them all together (kaveman, exude, Sebel brands)

Thanks, will have a hunt around and see what I can find and with moulds etc. Could be a bit of fun.
