Fishin mission
Hey guys, just got my first yak, ok prowler 4.5 after fishin pretty much daily off the bricks all winter. Used kayak and has everything but a fish finder. Real keen to get on the water, thinking army bay as it looks good good in terms of structure, depth and been landing fish all winter there off the rocks. Have some time off so will be out n about the next month. If anyone's headin out this week, (pretty much anywhere 100 clicks of aucks) and could use some fishing company or free beers... look no further. Cheers

Hey mate , try looking at the Auckland Region for planned trips . we used to post up planned trips all the time so newbes could tag along and learn from the more experienced guys but as the years have passed hardly anyone does this anymore which is pretty piss poor . I fish Army Bay , Martins Bay and Leigh as my go too spots and will post on the Auckland Region next time im planning on heading out .

Talk to your local club - the North Shore Kayak Fishing Club.
The East Auckland Club occasionally travels up that way, but it's be a bit of a commute for you. The EAKFC mostly fishes around Orere Point and surrounding areas.
