Got myself a kayak and teaching myself to fish.... Loving it!
I go out past Daniels Reef, Matheson Bay, Leigh. Caught a 4.5 Kg snapper on Sat... was very excited. Will be on here looking for tips.

Can't be doing too much wrong if you've snaffled a 4.5kg Snap already :y:

Welcome along.
There is something off Daniels Reef that owes me my old favourite Dr Evil lure.
Nice area.
North Shore Kayak Fishing Club has regular meetings and organised fishing days/weekends .
Solo activity that can be more fun in a group :D

Thanks Guys.
Happy to be here and will be joining the North Shore Club for sure.
Keen to meet people to go out with. Limited to paddling at Mathesons alone as can't get kayak on and off roof of car on my own. Although not complaining at all :)
