Hello,

Just purchased a Kayak and keen to get on the water. I live accross from the beach in Manly street, anymore fisher friends down this way??

I was in the market for a boat but the news of my partner being 3 months pregnant with our first sprat put the handbrake on full for that idea.

If anyone around here wants to give me some ideas for kits and what they use Kayak fishing wise im keen to learn..

Thanks

There is good fishing to be had off paraparaumu , just keep out of the reserve and be aware the current between kaput and the mainland can get up there at times.

Pukerua and Makara are good spots if you can / want to travel
