Early start just after dawn, met Karl off this forum on the beach, straight to Taka cliffs 7m water, bites & fish straight away, a few small keepers.
Dropped down 2 lives in return scored 2 JDs within 20mins while baitfishing for snaps....first time catching JDs off the kayak
There was a steady flow of fishing till the sun hit the cliffs, then it stopped altogether
Kept snaps of 35 37 38 Trev 33 JDs 38 38 3 legal throwbacks 30-32 plus 6 undersize went back
On & off the water in under 3hrs.... last time out was skunked, made up for it today :y:

to be honest, I thought I was going to get another skunking cause water temp was bloody cold at the beach... bit of a buggar when you are committed to a fishing spot
water temp on the beach was 12.2 deg, then slowly went up as I got to my spot, it sat around 13.7 - 13.9
