With Mitch and Barry's Valentine's day preperation in full swing, not sure if it was for each other, or their respective wives, and Doc busy writing cards for wouldbe suitors, it was left to The Mayor to do the fishing.
I launched at 6pm into a lively inshore wind, it took me an hour to paddle out to number 5 buoy from which I started my drift.
Got a couple of straight away but was being blown straight back towards the beach. Then the wind died and the fishing picked up as the sun set. Got one around 48 and a total tally of 6 all on the old faithful Zman new penny.
Home for 845, after a tough couple of months it looks like the fish are back.

Nice work.

I was out on Tuesday giving the new kayak a shake down cruise.
