After years of trying i came up tight on a solid red. I caught lots of tasty pannies too with many released. Here in Hawkes Bay i mainly fish for Snapper from 4m - 6m deep. You really get a scrap out of them at this depth. The trusty Pinky Snapper Snatcher did the damage on this fish. Seems to be my go to now. (Especially after being smoked by a fish on the same colour in Northland) Best part i did it with no assistance. Tuna is my next goal.

Cheers
