Mitch the Mayor and myself decided to head out to the local for 2019's first fish.

The weather wasn't the best but the fishing was decent.

I think at one point I saw the endangered "DEDANT" floating around Rough Rock. I feel very lucky ;)

Fish for another week :D

Busy once the sun got up. Loads of little ones , however I bow to the brilliance of Doc and co as I only brought home four.

I was late again.
Good to meet you Dedant. I hope the shoulder held up ok.
Doc I reckon your knocking them fish out with the 130 gram slider  therefore you are disqualified, the Mayor wins again.
Kermit you need casting lessons after almost taking my head off with that softie, or was that your way of saying I was poaching your fish. Plenty of laughs and plenty of snapper for all.
Orange sliders doing the business again :y:
Happy New Year all.

Gut em out there, unless it is the largest one on a club trip we record weights. Scaling is easier with a battery drill and kitchen mixer attachment. Outside of course! Too messy out on the water when you forget the scaler otherwise.

I never scale or gut, I go straight home and fillet them. Then I dig a hole in the backyard and bury the frames.

I must have some seriously fertile soil by now :)
