Started quite late, launching at 8:00am, stupid me still launched in a solid 10kt nw wind, wasnt too bad initially, paddled out ok with just a few waves coming over the bow, anchored at the green marker pole, with a very strong incoming tide along with wind, no chance of drifting without a chute, bits of small sign on the sounder but not too much, ended with one tiny undersized snapper which went home courtesy of a 5/0 black magic recurve hook nicely in the center of the mouth. look forward to venturing out further to the edge of the channel when the weather is better, and of course i have a mate who will come out too.
