On the beach and launched just after 6. The ute was saying air temperature 6 degrees, bit of a shock to the system, I'm going to need to harden up again with winter coming on. At least the water is still 17/18 degrees.
Easy launch, swell was tiny. Got 3 nice pannies, biggest at 44 cm, first couple fairly quickly, the last one at about 7.20, and then things just went dead. Got more little one that went back, but came back in about 10.
All the action was on the Zman Nuke chicken, couldn't get any takers on the microjig.
The breeze had dropped so much by the end that I just couldn't get any drift. Can't complain though, beautiful morning to be out. There was a seal lurking around (maybe that was why the fishing went off a bit?) which was cool to see and with the water so flat, the penguins were easy to see and hear, chattering away to themselves.
Go on then, tell us your stories...
