Launched at 5:45am in perfect overcast conditions with a light breeze.

Nailed a couple of good fish straight away, then picked up 5 more over a couple of hours of drifting along the edge of the channel.

Orange slidders got MVP yet again, with only one fish caught on soft bait.

Strangely the Mayor was missing in action this morning.

I heard a rumor that he has given up on the yoga classes and is attending a new self-help workshop called "The Healing Power of Hugs."

Very brave.

The beach was a mess with broken trees all over the ramp.

The water was full of wood and trash.

Nothing a good ole orange slider can't handle. :y:

Great report
Unfortunately, being Mayor of Narrow Neck meant that I had to attend an emergency breakfast meeting with the council on how best to clean up the aforementioned storm debris. The pastries, muffins ect were excellent but we were unable to come up with a workable solution. I'll be attending a champagne luncheon with the council on Thursday to try and move things forward.
Hopefully see you at the cleared ramp this weekend. :y:

Wait, so not coming up with a solution means more pastries, muffins and champagne luncheons?
