Took Friday off work as the weekend was looking like S**T!

Got to the ramp about 6:30am and was the only one there.

Unfortunately the weather forecast was wrong (again) and it was quite breezy as I launched.

The next 3 hours were some of the hardest fishing I've done - the sea was rough as guts with confused waves coming from all angles.

Manged 5 decent fish before I called it quits.

Smoked fish pie for dinner :0

If its any consolation, the weekend continued to be rough as guts - wildest fishing I've ever done on Saturday; swells on Coromandel so big when following fishing buddy often only seeing the tips of the paddle in the air; hard work to get nowhere and nowhere to hide!
