Well, after much decision myself and Barry decided on our first trip to Sulllivans bay ( Sorry Hainsey we know it's your patch) with a few newbys. Arrived at the gate at 0545 after getting up at 0430 feeling excited. Once the gate finally opened it was a race to get the yaks in the water and out there.
Finally hit the water and straight out to Saddle island. Assisting newbies where we could.
Slow fishing but finally catch 6 good size. Annie's with newbies catching 3 and 1. One new only catching 1 but assisted so he could go home with a feed.
Arrived back at car by 11:45 with everyone happy and drained, good practice for next weekend.
Good to meet you Terry from Te Atatu, you can contact me here, always here if you require a fishing buddy.
And Yes newbies are hooked on yak fishing.
Sorry Mayor of Narrowneck, maybe next time if you are allowed.

Nice catch, I've taught you well. The Mayor was overseas but I'll be back at NN this weekend. 8)

Its a shame Luke, we will be at Papa Aroha but that's what happens when you drag your mayoral chain.
