Finally had a good day off after few weeks of continuous work and other commitments.

On the water just after 6, spent the first hour paddling to spot x in Army Bay, tried soft baiting with no luck. So came out the pili's and Boom the reel goes screaming. 10 minutes later still fighting. Finally managed to get it on the surface, a nice big kingy, stoked first ever.

I think it was just a lucky strike but strong fish and good fun on light tackle.
