Started out on Saturday morning for my first visit to Army Bay headed out to Wellington rock first up no hits no bites and no sign. Change of plan headed into the shallows and decided to fish behind the white wash coming over the reefs. First fish was a 40 cm followed closely by a couple of mid 30s and finally getting smashed by something which I had no chance of stopping in 3 mtrs of water.

Monday morning started out with waking up the 8 yr daughter at 5.30 then a quick bit of brekkie and off to the firth.
Launched about 7.00 10 mins later lines in and hooked up first fish to the daughter 41 cm. I had the next a 36 then we could of limited out on 30 cms but they all went back. The girl then hooked up again another mid 30 fish on board. By now 9.30 am she is starting to get over it. A quick paddle in saw some sign and over the zman blooded goes and up comes a 47 cm so four kept for the day and back in by 10
