Hi all, been trolling this site for a while now so thought I should get my A into G and start submitting. Stayed down at pikowai for the long weekend, sea was pretty dodgy but I managed to get out for a quick fish on sunday around lunchtime while the tide was high. Went out to around 11m and was into fish straight away. Got 5 snapper in about an hour, enough to feed 3 families back at camp.

Welcome Thrasher.

That looks like a great spot to camp. I loved driving that stretch of road when we passed through there a few years back. Must be fun getting through the surf!

Shot bud! The size of the swell was definitely out of my comfort zone :?: There would have been a few jealous surfcasters with the comp being on

It looked good on Saturday at high tide when I was driving past on the way to the jetsprints. Good sets with a lull between, timing required tho. Well done getting a feed.
