Guess there is very little to add, after a slight incident involving a dirt bike last weekend, i really thought i wouldnt make it. So glad i took the spoon of cement and went along.
As always a fantastic trip,i took home 3 snapper over 10 lb and a nice big JD, so no complaints, and stoked for Hainesy and KK, its been a while since ive heard such screams of delight on the water,Well earned.
Captain Pete was his normal self , as helpful as ever , So yep , another memory maker..
Now back to cleaning gear!!! ;) :y:

It was great to catch up with DJ and I must say my hat goes off to that man . After coming off second best with a scrap with a dirt bike DJ was clutching his ribs and winching in pain everytime he extended himself on this trip , loading yaks ,loading gear , getting in and out of the yak ect ect ect . But in true testament to how tough DJ is he boxed on with no complaints and actually put in the longest hours on the water :y: ( mind you he only goes fishing once a year ! ) You are a tough bugger DJ

Epic trip boys!
Can't add much to what's been said. Lucky with the weather again.
Cuvier has been on the top of my "want to fish" list for a couple of years now and it certainly didn't disappoint.
I landed some good snaps but nowhere near my PB. Got a Kingi on a small snapper jig as well.

Seeing KK hook that Marlin was amazing. I missed the first jump but saw the splash. There was so much white water I thought it was a big bait school being chased to the surface but then it jumped again. I was on the boat about 500m (I guess) from the fish and it looked huge from that distance. Must have look like a bus flying out of the water from where KK was. A big "O" for awesome!

Oh, and if you loan your waterproof camera to your wife, check the lens for sun screen and/or make-up or you'll end up with pictures like this.
Just as well we took some with Steve's camera otherwise it would have been tears all round.

Already looking forward to next time.

I take my hat off to the guys who actually go out and target these fish :y:
I was talking with another forum member last night who had his own experience yesterday with a Marlin and has video footage of the aerial display these fish put on
