A plan was made By KK :y: to Fish one of the places I like to Fish from so that was all I needed for a excuse to get out and join him
we hit the beach as the sun was rising and then this Ghost like shape appeared from the the was the Ghost Rider  so the three of us heading out in hope of catching a feed I fished the shallows with very little success and as the sun was getting higher I decided to head deeper in search of some big boys found an area with a lots of bait fish showing up on sounder and then seen a really tight pack :P time to deploy my offering to see what would end up for my dinner bait goes down down waiting waiting buzzzzzzzzz KK got ya ears on (whats this Sound) as the Fish runs off at full pace now tug of war time and up pops mr Snapper and into the boot he goes  carried on looking in same area but no more good sign so decided to scout around some more, caught up with Fish Whisperer (good to meet you) then parted ways and more looking and looking but nothing, spotted Andrew Rawlingson having a meet and greet and at the same time dropping a bait on some good bait sign and next minute rod is bending right over in to the water as line is peeling off at great speed and going for a good tow after a good scrap I see color and its snapper and hes a goodin hook is right down in stomach and bleeding so in the boot you go Mr, caught one other smaller fish so decided I had plenty for a feed for the troops back home and headed back to the beach for a Beer and debrief with King Fishkiller and Ghost Rider  Cheers for the beers and credit for the photos go to them as well
Cheers Guys :y:

Good to catch up with a few of the guys and it was a glorious day .
The day started off for me finding out my transducer cable was cut so no sounder :@ . Never mind , ill throw some softbaits around the wash and in the shallows . I did this for an hour and only managed some small snaps and 3 busted rigs on the bottom . Then the VHF goes off so to speak , Stray Dog has his finger on the button and all I hear is zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz , so I paddle out deeper and take a few pics of his very healthy snap .
Now for anyone who recently read the thread on the forum about the benefits of sounders this day absolutely demonstrates how valuable they can be . While I was alongside Stray Dog he showed me his sounder , a small bait ball on the bottom with a very big arch just above it . This is what he was able to see in 25m of water then send a bait down on top of the arch and wait for the rod to load up ! :y:
Ghost Rider and myself were without working sounders and cast out all morning in the same area as Stray Dog but only caught the odd small snap . This was not a case of Stray Dog being " lucky " , it was case of finding decent sign on his sounder and dropping baits right on there heads !
