[quote="WaikatoYakka"]So I had plans for a big adventure this weekend on a mothership but the skipper made the call to pull the pin due to weather… fair call but naturally having taken time off work and mentally prepared myself for a big weekend I was gutted. :headbang:
You caught a Mothership!!

Far out. I got a call last week about heading up for the pre comp recce but been too busy lately. Well stoked for you Bryce. I did think you were just going to leash it and come back in a few weeks. I guess the collar was too small eh?

WaikatoYakka gave me the call to head up North for a recon mission and on short notice we were fishing spot x . Bryce not only broke the magic 20lb mark he smashed it !!!
I managed a handful of northland pannies on the softbaits .
Sunday we decided to fish another area we hadn't been to before so Pope , Bryce and myself headed off for another fish .
After having a couple of big runs then having the baits dropped I finally got one to stick and nice 15lber comes up . I get dick of the day because as I was putting him in the bin he fell into the briney and kicked off . Followed that up with a nice northland pannie of around 9lb .
Looking forward to getting back up there in a few weeks .

Awesome new PB Waikatoyakker :y:
