went out about 2 with tide being 7-30 ,was abit rough , ff won;t work so put anchor down with burly ,anchor got hooked stright away was a prob trying to tire it off ,so i new i was going to have a prob retreaving it , baits got hit stright away , not long before i had five in the bag but once the burly was gone things slow down with a lot of throw backs , was happy to get ancher back the old wire tire worked very , got home and found a pin in the back of the ff had broken, can that be fixed or is it time for a new ff ? i got a $200 feeling.

If it's a cheap eagle/lowrance you have some spare unused wires in the cable. You can swap one over if you're confident. The power is normally the one to go first. Good luck :?:
The perils of kayak fishing are great...... especially for the fish!
