I decided to graph the size of all the snapper I have caught this year so far.

The total number taken home is 84 with a further 39 legal sized ones released. Yes my family has eaten lots of fish this summer. Plus a few to friends and family.

The graph below shows the number of snapper in the 27-29cm, 30-39cm, 40-49cm, 50-59cm & over 60cm by trip. The first few trips this year I didn't record the size.

Crikey. You've been out fishing more times this year than I have in the past 2 years. :(

Interesting graph Destin and would equate comparably with my catches predominently from the Whangarei harbour.
If I'm not fishing I'm taking photographs, if I'm not taking photographs I'm fishing!!

Definitely been a good summer and I think the size of these schooling fish have been larger than normal. It will be interesting to see how many hang around and what size they are?
