Here are a few transducer options shown mounted in the new scupper design on the Ocean Kayak Ultra 4.3 8)

In case you havn't seen it already, the new scupper recess is designed such that it will take a range of different brand transducers. Two brass inserts have been added to the recess to make installation super easy.

The process of mounting the following options simply involves:

1. Feeding the cable through from the under side
2. Mounting the transducer to it's factory bracket
3. Screwing the transducer in place using a couple of M5 cap or dome head machine screws

Lowrance 50/200khz Deep water skimmer - while you can't make use of the new inserts using the factory bracket on this transducer it does still fit nice and snug for those who might venture out to very deep waters:

No more having to chop up your new electronics and what used to be possibly the most time consuming parts of a fish finder install now takes a matter of minutes :y: 8)

The brass inserts for holding the transducer brackets is a brilliant idea by the boys at Johnsons . .

Don't know if they've always had it, but my new Marauder has brass inserts as well - couple of SS M5 bolts & the transducer's installed (Cuda 300).

In N2Y's first couple of pics it shows a S/S transducer bracket that fits nicely and is designed for the inserts. Are these only available on new FF / Transducers or can you buy them as a part for older style Humminbird FF.
Any help will be appreciated thanks

The stainless bracket is the transducer mount bracket that comes standard with a Lowrance 83/200 or 455/800khz transducer.

Cheers.

My Kayak dealer is telling me after I fit the dsi Transducer in the scupper mount I have to goop around it with sealant so it's more packed in the mount , less movement or some sh*t I think he was saying , does this sound correct to other users ????
