Ah well a weekend spent off the water at least got the new website up and live, please take a look and let me know what you think.

The forum is still the main focus of the community and it will be used to power the website, as you will see some of the posts have already been turned into stories for the website.

What we need now is more article/information based pages on the website, so if anyone feels like sharing some info feel free to post it in the relevant section of the forum and I'll pick it up and turn it into something for the website. I'm looking for "how to" articles in particular, how to use/choose - drouge, anchor, softbait, knots, re-enter a kayak, pfd, lights, etc etc stuff the newbies will need to set them straight from day one, let them learn from our mistakes...

Will try and sort out some sort of reward for people who make the effort - probably the highly desirable KayakFishingNZ stickers to start off with :)

How to get to the new website? Click Here

Nice magazine style WP template you've used there Jason- looks to be full of handy widgets.

Great front to the site, especially like the scrolling stories, like not having to move to much clicking through 10 stories for one that grabs the attention, cheers for all work done, much appreciated :D :D

cheers bobfornow
