Managed to get a few hours in this morning before the horribleness started ramping up.
Not much action past 7:30 though

weather was great over the weekend but the wind was bad so my planned trip out was cancelled. I hate the wind... pretty much the only thing about welly that i dont like

I’ve been fishing about once a fortnight on average for the past 5 years and have only been rained on a handful of times. It’s not like it doesn’t rain in the Northland! Why does the weather always turning bad on weekend???? 
weekdays is mint and look at that forecast for saturday and sunday
if we are going down on a strong wind, how would you chose your ground? any tips?

I would choose a drier ground and fish another day
