Went out from wellingtons bay this morning 6am had the lines in the water as the sun was coming up came across a patch of snapper and picked up these biggest was 5.5kg happy day also if madmike reads this the reel worked awesome mate thanks heaps :D

She's a beauty (the fish and the boat) - What weight gear were you using ? Probably a good string puller that one.

Yeah nice fish man , but I'm pretty impressed with that kayak mate ! What length is one of those , and weight ? Looks good !

Hey kernels the reel was a Penn battle 2 first time in use yeah mate reel was running just need to get a bigger fish now :D

Hey bud its 4.8m long and the weight is 38kg with out anything on it a little heavy but very very comfortable on the water :rofl:

Shuna paddle? Fibre with glass blades? Where did you pick it up?

Always liked the Kraken, had a few rides in one when in the UK, bit heavy for me though.

The kraken is heavy but stable and comfortable good for my back lol can stay on it all day
