So who's planning to hit the show on Sat ?
Usually we try and get a group to terrorise the yak stands at the same time and them grab a beer !

Great to have a good chat with the OK and Viking lads today, got some great advice.

Picked up a few bits and bobs but there was a distinct lack of bargains I thought when it came to tackle such as reels etc.

That's been my experience over the years too , not to many bargains to had in the tackle front !

Same here, nice to see the kayaks lined up next to each other. Rob Fort did a pretty good presentation on soft-baiting and I bought about $20 worth of lures.

But overall It probably wasn't worth the $22 entry and $8 parking (Unless I win the Stabicraft or one of the vikings)

I shall be present at the Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show from approximately 10am onwards. I shall be doing the usual rounds and rummaging through the bargain bins for that extra something special. Hainsey if you have my number, text me if you heading for a shandy!

I went for a wander around yesterday afternoon and caught up with the usual suspects.
I go to see what's new and to chat with people I haven't seen for a while. I far as I can tell, the show specials on fishing gear are nothing more than you can get any day of the week from most suppliers. I did pick up some more bags for my vacuum sealer machine though.
I park in Cornwall park along the entrance road and do the 5 minute walk. I spend my parking money on greasy chips and a hot dog!
