Managed to get a few hours in this morning before the horribleness started ramping up.
Not much action past 7:30 though

SloMartin did very well, demolishing his PB by several kilos :beer: :clap:


Chance of a quick late afternoon window tomorrow just behind the front, if you don't mind sitting in the rain... :lol:

The weather is usually poor for labour weekend.

weather was great over the weekend but the wind was bad so my planned trip out was cancelled. I hate the wind... pretty much the only thing about welly that i dont like

Better to stay at home, wishing you were out there and getting psyched for the next trip than being out there wishing you were at home. I forget that lesson every once in a while!

The wind always seems to be calm when I'm at work. I bloody hate it when that happens.

I’ve been fishing about once a fortnight on average for the past 5 years and have only been rained on a handful of times. It’s not like it doesn’t rain in the Northland! I tend to pick my days, so no/little wind must mean little rain?

Yep for sure ... safety first... many a day I've pulled the pin and gone home after arriving at the beach and seeing the conditions
