Just a friendly suggestion to everyone to read through the updated rules regarding which Kayak you can and cannot use for these events. :!:
The rules for this have been updated in the last week or so. |(
Thanks

Hi junl3jim,

These competitions are for single hulled kayak's, paddle, peddle. or sail and always have been. They are not for multi hulled kayak's which have a bigger advantage in speed, stability and sail cover. In saying that I did try and open a category for such Kayaks ( multi hulled) But no one entered in. If some one had a genuine disability and they could not paddle, peddle or sail a single hulled kayak then it would be up to the organiser discretion to allow such a vessel.

The point I am trying to make is that regardless of what you say it has always been, then rules on your site never included anything regarding a multi hulled Yak.
It stated Peddled, Paddled or Sail Powered Kayak.
The additional text stating 'multi-hulled' was not there when I specifically checked for it a couple of weeks ago when discussing with my potential sponsor.
Thanks

Well only 2 weeks to go to the Viking Kayaks Coromandel Gold Strike. With well over $15,000 worth of prizes to give away, this is the start of the Orton Events NZ Kayak Fishing Series 2015. You can enter as a series competitor of just do the individual events. Catching up with like minded people and testing your kayak fishing skills in different locations around the North Island.
