Shotgun start from Papa Aroha on Saturday at 6am your id tag issued at the compulsary breifing will be collected from the beach before the shot gun start, all competetiors must report to the weigh station on there return, after the weigh in time on saturday you can fish anywhere in the Coromandel from Thames to Waihi beach.

Weigh in finishes on Saturday at 5pm so yes you could fish through the night :y:

Hey Orty

Paps doesn't have a lot of parking area - unless you actually stay at the camp ground? Have you made any arrangements with the camp for day parking for those not planning on staying there?

Does anyone remember how packed Tuateawa was last year?

If the weather turns to poos and the Saturday is moved to the East coast which launch spot are you planning?

Not trying to be difficult, just some answers I need before parting with the cash to enter.

Hi Hodgey,

Papa Aroha has alot of parking on the left handside on the Camp ground. Also we have access to private land right next door to the camp for extra parking if needed.

Hi Folks - Hoping to try and make it to the gold rush, left it a bit late but had some prior family stuff on but seems I now will have a pass

Just wondering if anyone has a spare bed / spot. There are tent possies still available at PA but thought someone may be keen to share costs.

PM me if you have something.

Cheers
