Going by the maps i think we have a good window till late saturday. Daniel we are going (for the first time) to a bay in Moeraki. Turn into Moeraki, head towards the township and turn left (sign posted) towards the lighthouse. Along light house road you turn left into Kaika road and we will be at the end at the village. It will be me and Kevin, other Andy is not feeling well. Kevin is calling around soon so will post or txt the time we hope to be there.

Yeah been doing quite a bit of research up there. Was surprised to see you can still get Blue Cod up there. But yeah apparently snapper put up a decent fight and kingies are in a different league altogether. Move up there mid April :)

Deep sea fishing from Taieri Mouth on Saturday. Disappointing catch of blue cod, heaps of Jock Stewarts. Hit a shoal of school groper which saved the day. 8 miles south of the river mouth, too far out to kayak :(

We should organise something from Dunedin over Easter.

Hoping to get out over the Easter break and the 2 weeks after. If the weather allows it will get down to Shag point next week with Kevin as he hasn't fished there yet. Will keep you posted Daniel and anyone else down there.

also works insane and i cant even get the middle 3 days off :(
