After hearing rumours, reports, n mumblings, weeks of rereading fishing mags, editing videos, tieing traces, and other non-productive fishing related activities, I finally got out on the big blue. Was a stellar evening with no breeze, a tiny swell, n no boat traffic. Wombled out to 8m enjoying the paddle, heading for a spot that's produced before. Picks down, baits out, n feet up. Life is good! The otha fulla started mumbling out about lack of bites n he was right. Picks up, ff on, n 5mins paddle saw us anchored on edge of structure. Light was starting to go as straylines were fed out into current. Getting railed on whole squids or pillies into the darkness was hilarious until 40lb traces started parting. The razor gang had arrived and so had the drizzle. Home time.
Soooo good to be back on the water
