Now the waters cleared n the grounds stopped wobblin the boaties/yakkers rumour mill is workin over time!

Somewhere between kina n rabbit island - brim in 2m n kings too (wed)
A bay that starts with a c not far from a marine reserve - packs of kings smashin bait on the surface n onto the rocks (wed)
A well known anchorage in the lee of an island starting with A - 4 snaps over 60cm from an anchored yacht (mon)
Murderers bay - If I told ya the locals would murder me too!

Seems like a good time for a "No bait no burley" fun contest/get together thingymajig before the foreign hordes descend on our quiet slice of paradise. Thinkin no prizes, $20 entry, longest fish takes the pot.

Anyone keen?

Did a lazy launch sunday morn at kaiteriteri. Calm but bouncing 9 different directions was uncomfortable, so bailed n chased the womens waka ama crew to the beach.

Relaunched around 5pm with the otherfulla in howling southerly wind n showery squalls....
Achored in the lee of kaka pt n the wind eased as forcast.
Heaps of bait sign n the odd patch of larger sign but got skunked.
Water quality was crap, with both rivers full n muddy. Shouldve known better!
Back on beach by 7pm, shivering, with wind increasing, mightve been snowing!

Maybe thurs evening......
