Last minute decision so headed out to fish the port waters at 8.30am. Sea was flat with no wind, water temp was 13 degrees and air temp about 10 so not a bad morning. Paddled out to far bouy and anchored, after 30 mins all that was caught was 2 spineys. Decided to head in to port entrance where I anchored and immediately hauled in a great size KY. During the next 30 min landed 2 more big KY.
Decided that was enough fish so called it a day and headed back to ramp. Only other fishos out were 2 chaps paddling in a 8ft dingy!! At least they had life jackets on. Had a small seal accompany me back to ramp.
