Spring has well and truly sprung and bumped up the water temperatures. As per usual with the first week of october, the snapper turned up after a long winter hiatus. I wasn't after one this big but what can you do ? :D Caught a nice mixed bag of Trevally and Gurnard too. Kingfish won't be far away.

Yeah, well done Blair! Tell me, are you using bait or have you switched to soft baits & Jigging ? maybe a combo ? Good results anyway.

I have been experimenting with soft-plastics and also inchikus. I'm not sold on their fish catching potential over bait just yet. So mostly just dirty old ledger rigs.
