Went down late morning through till afternoon to see what was around..
I caught many different species: Kahawai, Spiny Dogfish, Blue Cod, ScorpionFish, Spotty, Yellow Eyed Mullet, Even a cute conger eel. Conditions were great apart from the rolling 1.2m swell . Can confirm Spinies are still a menace and are back for revenge.. one had a real good go at getting a spine into my arm. Of course every fish except the kahawai were returned safely after a quick pic. Later in the morning i had a massive pod of dolphins turn up out of nowhere. That was a cool experience having them buzzing all around . I counted over 30 in total ! Hopefully be back on the water soon, was good fun !
