Guys,
We had this Saturday 6th May set for a club fishing day at Wilsons Bay. Current weather forecast looks pretty good notwithstanding it will be a cold morning, 9 knot southerly (gusting 12 knots). Low tide is 9.30am, high tide 3.40am. Let us know if you are keen and we can hatch a plan.
Cheers

How's the fishing looking like at Wilsons Bay? I was looking at heading out to Kaiuia on Sunday, it just seemed to good a day to not go out.

There are some good fishing reports coming out of the farms and along the coast between wilsons and kereta. I fished out from Wilsons a couple weeks ago but we were only on the water for a couple of hours and not an ideal tide, lots of little ones but we managed enough for a feed (just).
I'll try and remember to post an update when we get in on Saturday to let you know how we got on.

Channel 8 and 0276127422.
Plan to be on the water at 6.30, paddle towards Manaia harbour and drift back with the incoming tide around 11.
Probably around the 12 metre mark but of course plans change if I see bad weather or good workups.
