thinking of selling my good old hobie. Caught many fish with it - but I want to get a bit more into touring and planning to get a bigger yak.
I bought the hobie in 2010 second hand. It's green and I installed a cuda 300 fish finder.
2011 it cracked at the drive well which I had professionally welded and then I reinforced the inside with marine filler. That holds pretty good and it hasn't leaked since.
The drive itself still looks pretty good, except that the pedal attachment screws are rusting. These might need to be replaced at some stage.
It's an old and well used kayak and has a good amount of scratches on the hull. But nothing serious.
Just thought I'd post and see if anyone is interested in this yak.
I'd prefer to sell it before I get another one - but if no interest I might just keep it as backup.
cheers
