Forgive my stupidity but what is the benefit of having this? I have an android phone that makes calls so far and little else.

There's so many apps that are great for Android, this tapatalk helps me post and catch up on the forum really quickly. Then I have navionics, a neat knot tying app, fishing rules and regulations app, tides app etc etc.

Updated my Samsung Galaxy to 2.3.5 and loving it.

Essentially speed and simplicity. Tapatalk makes it faster to navigate forums from a mobile, and also is simpler than using a mobile web browser.

I'm running the same apps but off my iPhone. I've got an OB waterproof case for it and will be using it alot out on the water. It'll be interesting to see how the battery stands up!

This is the first post I have mad using tapatalk.

Just to be a bit different, I am using the iPad version, and it is a rather nice app to use.
I was getting a bit untreated with not being able to upload pictures from the iAd to the forum, but I will give it a go, to see if it works with the app and the iPad..

Well, here goes..

all good , :)
Everyone is a genius.

But if you judge a fish
on its ability to climb a tree.
it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

That's about what I was expecting tbh. I'll be using Navionics mainly until I invest in a GPS sounder... Just got to accumulate these things slowly otherwise the other half might start noticing :)

Bumping an old topic. I have been noticing for a while I seem to be missing quite a few posts using Tapatalk HD on my nexus tablet. I keep up to date using the "timeline" tab and read everything that comes through new on that. But then when I come back to using the active topics tab with firefox on the computer there are topics and replies spread throughout that I haven't seen.
Anyone else experiencing a similar problem or know what I am doing wrong?

I use it on the iPhone but I don't have a timeline function. I have a latest, but that only shows the latest since my last visit

Yes it is frustrating that you can use tapatalk but I'd doesn't update the forum. I have 20 pages of unread messages on the computer it does not seem to run together.
