Hi Mental,

I know you increased the size of the fonts on the site a few months back. Is there any chance you can increase the size of the photos we can upload. The 800px max at the moment looks extremely small on modern hi res screens.

Hi mate, I'm sure an IT-guru like yourself has thought of this already, but I find a third party hosting site such as Photobucket a lot easier to manage than attachments.

Unfortunately all pictures even linked ones are a maximum of 800 pixels wide even if the source picture is larger.

I think the site needs to raise that maximum size from 800 to say 1600.

Problem I've encountered on other sites though, is that not every one crunches their pics to a reasonable filesize.
Nothing worse than sitting there waiting for a string of uncompressed multi-Mb pics to slowly crawl in just so you can read the thread.

If the pic size was capped at, say 200kb, which is more than ample for web viewing then all good.

Not everyone has UFB or megabig screens, some poor souls are still on copper... :doh:
