I will keep the plans and jig for you.slightly over budget ply $75 cedar $240 material covering estimate $105 not bad for a 17ft kayak.

I'm intrigued by the skinning material you are going to use. Is it available locally or do you have to import it? I have an idea for a wing sail, and this Ceconite stuff looks like the business.

just the stuff available locally $15 per yard i think it is 60 inches wide give me a pm for more detail.

Lots of work being done to bring all the timbers together at the stem and stern but nothing that really shows up in any new pictures.Will post some more pictures when the pointy ends are finished.
